Meeting Ratings

Dear organizers,

We have released a new and improved version of Meeting Ratings!

Participants can now rate their online meetings as soon as they're over.

If they wish to provide feedback at a later stage, they can do so on their Meetings page.

This new feature is enabled by default for all events that do not use the existing meeting ratings. For more information check out our article Meeting Ratings (New Version).

Speakers & Organizers Pages

Dear organizers,

We have two new updates that we are happy to share with you!

1) Speakers

You can now create a separate page on your event website dedicated to your speakers.

Participants who are marked as speakers can have a Biography section, they can be assigned to a specific session, and you can upload their presentations. Learn more in our article Speakers.

2) Organizers page

For events with a lot of main or supporting organizers, you can add a separate page listing their contact information.

Event Navigation

Dear organizers,

We are thrilled to announce our new feature with you! You do not want to miss this one 😍 

Event Navigation allows you to completely change the structure of your event website's navigation bar.

You can now:

  • reorder and rename links
  • create dropdown menus
  • create filtered participant lists

...and so much more! Make sure to read our article Event Navigation to find out how much you can do with this new feature. 

We are very excited to share this with you because it represents a big step towards a more customisable event website. And it will only get better and stronger 😉

Scheduled Maintenance

Dear organizers,

Our system will undergo a short scheduled maintenance during the weekend. You might experience some minor technical difficulties while using our organizer’s tool.

Event websites will not be affected, so your participants will be able to use the platform without any issues.

AI Meeting Recommender

Dear organizers,

The new b2match AI Recommender system is now live! You can enable it in Configuration > Matchmaking Settings. 

Enabling this feature will provide AI-powered profile recommendations to your participants with the goal of increasing booking numbers. The recommended profiles will be displayed on the Participant page and the Meetings page.

Audio and Video Settings for Virtual Meetings

Dear organizers,

Your participants can now change their microphone, speakers (Google Chrome only), and camera in case they have external devices connected to their desktop computers or laptops.

Apache Log4j Update

Dear organizers,

An exploit in the Apache Log4j component used in many systems worldwide has been reported on December 10.

Considering the serious nature of this security issue, we have immediately reviewed all of our systems and patched the impacted ones, so there is no action on your side needed. You can safely continue using b2match without any worries.

Additionally, we haven’t identified any unusual activity in any of our systems and we are constantly monitoring them to make sure all your data is safe. If you need any further clarification, do not hesitate to contact us.

Adding Participants to Meetings

Dear organizers,

We are very excited to announce a new feature that has been long in the making.

You can now add multiple participants to existing 1:1 meetings! 🥳
Go to Meetings in the organizer's tool, find the one you would like to change, and click More > Edit Meeting.

The Edit Meeting sidebar also allows you to reschedule meetings more easily. Read all about it in our articles Adding Participants to 1:1 Meetings and Edit Meeting.

Recording Online Sessions

Dear organizers,

We are happy to announce that you can now record a session on our integrated video conferencing tool!

You can easily enable the recording for a certain session by going to Agenda > Edit and download the files afterwards in Agenda > Recordings.
