Apache Log4j Update

Dear organizers,

An exploit in the Apache Log4j component used in many systems worldwide has been reported on December 10.

Considering the serious nature of this security issue, we have immediately reviewed all of our systems and patched the impacted ones, so there is no action on your side needed. You can safely continue using b2match without any worries.

Additionally, we haven’t identified any unusual activity in any of our systems and we are constantly monitoring them to make sure all your data is safe. If you need any further clarification, do not hesitate to contact us.

Adding Participants to Meetings

Dear organizers,

We are very excited to announce a new feature that has been long in the making.

You can now add multiple participants to existing 1:1 meetings! 🥳
Go to Meetings in the organizer's tool, find the one you would like to change, and click More > Edit Meeting.

The Edit Meeting sidebar also allows you to reschedule meetings more easily. Read all about it in our articles Adding Participants to 1:1 Meetings and Edit Meeting.

Recording Online Sessions

Dear organizers,

We are happy to announce that you can now record a session on our integrated video conferencing tool!

You can easily enable the recording for a certain session by going to Agenda > Edit and download the files afterwards in Agenda > Recordings.

Enable / Disable Meeting Rescheduling

Dear organizers,

You can now decide whether or not your participants can reschedule their meetings. You can find this option in Configuration > Matchmaking Settings.

Disable the toggle button if you do not want to allow the participants to make last minute changes to their meetings. We recommend using this setting 1-2 days before an on-site event.

Time Zone Improvement

Dear organizers,

Our IT team significantly improved the way time zones work for your participants!

Until now, they were only able to select a time zone on virtual events. For on-site events, we displayed everything in the event's default time zone.

With the introduction of our Hybrid solution, we had to make sure that all participants can change their time zone, regardless of the event and their attendance type.

Additionally, the system automatically recommends a time zone for the participants, based on the type of the event and their attendance type.

Hybrid Events - On-site and Remote Tickets

Dear organizers,

our Hybrid Solution just got another important update! 😍 

For hybrid events with the Payment feature enabled, you can now define tickets specifically for on-site or remote participants.

Hybrid Events - Limiting the Number of On-site Participants

Dear organizers,

we are happy to announce yet another improvement of our Hybrid Solution! 😊 

You are now able to limit the number of people who can register for your hybrid event as on-site participants. Go to Configuration > Registration Settings and set up the limit. Once the limit is reached, participants will only be able to register as remote participants.

You can also limit the number of on-site participants for specific on-site and hybrid sessions! Simply go to the Agenda, click "Edit" on a session and set up the limit of on-site participants.
